Hello, my name is Liz Tercek.  

I am a violist and educator with over 30 years of teaching experience. 

I have a BM in Viola Performance, a MM in Viola Performance and Violin/Viola Pedagogy, and a Public School Teaching Certification.  

I have a current background check on file and a current teaching license on file with the WI Department of Public Instruction.  

I enjoy teaching the viola (and violin) to students of all ages, through private lessons.  I also enjoy helping groups of friends learn how to play together through coaching.  

I charge $25.00 for a 1/2 hour lesson/coaching.  For private lessons, the fee is $25.00 per student.  For coaching duets the fee is $12.50 per student per 1/2 hour.  The fee for trios is $12.50 per student per 3/4 hour.  The string quartet fee is $12.50 per student per hour. 

If you have any concerns after lessons have started, (you don't think your child is benefitting from the lessons, or if you don't think that I am a good fit for your child, etc.), please let me know!  Likewise, I will communicate with you if I think I am not a good fit for your child, or I don't think that I will be able to help your child succeed.

Each lesson or coaching is scheduled in 1/2 hour increments.  Each 1/2 hour costs $25.00.  

Consistent attendance is encouraged and expected. Cancellations of lessons must occur at least 24 hours before the lesson.  

Make up lessons for cancelled lessons may be offered, or cancelled lessons may be reimbursed. 

Lessons that are not cancelled will not be made up or reimbursed.
